Preparations for the EUROSON 2023 in Riga, Latvia are picking up pace. Our full programme is now available, abstract submission has been extended and we have exciting developments with our 'SonoCave'. See all EUROSON 2023 news below.

Nine parallel sessions, worldwide experts and well-known colleagues will share their recent research results and best practices in the abdominal, neck, vascular, neuromuscular, urological and emergency ultrasound and cover such topics as ultrasound in oncology and elastography.

STUDENT ULTRASOUND CONGRESS (STUC)

 

STUC is an international medical students ultrasound congress which is part of EUROSON 2023 taking place May 25-27, 2023. It is a scientific event specifically for medical students, aiming to familiarize them with the uses of ultrasound as a diagnostic and interventional procedure.
 
STUC congress will have the scientific support of senior clinicians from Europe. The congress will be student friendly with hands-on sessions and interactive activities conducted by ultrasound enthusiastic students. Lectures will cover both basic and more advanced topics, hands-on stations with portable and handheld ultrasound devices.

The registration fee for medical students is 150 euro for 25 – 27 May 2023, covering the participation at the student’s congress which is held at the same time and venue as EUROSON 2023. Proof of medical student status is required at the registration desk. You can register at  https://www.euroson2023.com/register/

SONOCAVE

Join Industry giants to learn new techniques through demonstrations and hands on sessions.

Our SonoCave is a fully operational hands on experience working alongside Industry using latest ultrasound technology and models and looking at:
    • General Abdomen
    • Multiparametric liver imaging
    • Kidneys and urinary bladder
    • MSK
    • Doppler of the extracranial and peripheral vessels
    • Head and neck
    • Thorax and simple intervention training
    • Emergency medicine / intensive care (e.g. eFAST, lung ultrasound)
     

     

    EARLY CAREER CASE REPORTS

     

    Submission by clinicians within 5 years from a first professional qualification. The presentations should be 6 minutes with 3 minutes for discussion competing for a first prize of FREE registration for EUROSON 2024 in Naples, Italy and a cash prize of 100 EURO for the runner up. The best case reports will be published on the EFSUMB website as a Case of the Month.
